The world of Spira was a seriously high tech world, everything was going great until Sin made his first appearance. That was 1000 years ago, Sin is still around. No matter how many times Sin is destroyed, he keeps coming back, destroying more of Spira each time.
It is up to a young summoner to bring the calm once again, or maybe even destroy Sin for good. This summoner and her Guardians must travel to all the temples in Spira, to pray to the fayth and obtain Aeons, and once they reach Zanarkand, to call upon the final Aeon, the only thing powerful enough to defeat Sin, and bring the calm.
